GENUINE RAINBOW: Pistol Grip Hose with Trigger For D4, D4C, and SE Rainbow Vacuum Cleaners.
NOTICE: Will not fit the Series -E- Rainbows!
This hose has the button lock on the wand end of the hose.
This hose has been redesigned by Rainbow as of November 2005.
It will work in place of the hose that you may have had before that did not have a trigger.
The purpose of an -electrified- hose is to provide electricity to you power nozzle that has the motor and roller brush in it.
In the old days of Rexair, the electrical wire was not embedded in the hose but was attached to the outside of the hose with little rubber snaps.
This hose replaces these old fashioned types.
